Karijini Experience

Special Announcement
With respect for Mr. M Parker we announce that the Karijini Experience will go ahead this year from the 4-7 April. Before his passing, it was one of his strong and clear wishes to see the event continue. This year the Karijini Experience will honour Mr Parker's  significant contributions and work with his family to ensure we respectfully continue his incredible legacy.

About The Karijini Experience

4-7 April 2024

Join us at the Karijini Experience for 4 days of culture, art and music on country.

This year, the Karijini Experience returns to a warmer April date and offers a diverse and inclusive program, showcasing authentic, arts and cultural experiences in the breathtaking landscape of Karijini National Park.

Amongst the many things happening this year, attendees can enjoy art and weaving workshops, movie nights under the stars, and musical performances by Aboriginal artists from across Australia.  Additionally, this year introduces a special dining experience by Fervor, highlighting local Indigenous produce, and a pop-up restaurant by Iluka’s Kitchen.

Plan your trip

When to come?

For a complete immersion in all scheduled activities, we suggest arriving on Thursday morning or evening and departing on Monday morning. Festival programming and activities kick off on Thursday, April 4th at 5:30 pm and conclude around 10 pm on Sunday night.

Where to Stay?

Campsites are provided for BNTAC members to bring their own camping gear, with convenient access to toilets and shower facilities located at the airstrip. For non BNTAC members there are campsites nearby including at Dales campground, Auski Tourist Village & Roadhouse and Karijini Eco Retreat

What food will be available?

There will be food trucks throughout the festival for food and drink purchases, however, we encourage you to be mostly self-sufficient when it comes to food, by bringing lunches and dinners with you to enjoy as a picnic, especially when exploring the National Park.
