It is a privilege to have been appointed the new CEO of Banjima Native Title Aboriginal Corporation. Thank you to the BNTAC Board and BNTAC staff for all their support over the last few months during my tenure as interim CEO.
Since my very first week back in July, I have seen first-hand the important work BNTAC does as the Prescribed Body Corporate for the Banjima People, the support that our passionate staff give to Members, and the important caring for country projects undertaken by Banjima Country Management and its Rangers in the field.
I am pleased to say that over the past few months we have been working closely with the Banjima Elders Council and Banjima decision making committees to help guide our Corporation and get the best outcomes for the Banjima community as a whole.
I look forward to continuing our core work in ensuring the maintenance of Banjima’s Native Title rights, growing support programs and opportunities for our Banjima community, and developing new projects for the conservation of Banjima’s beautiful Country in the Pilbara.
