WA Department of Mines $15 million cultural respect body created

The WA Department of Mines will be getting nearly $15 Million to establish an "Aboriginal Empowerment Unit'.

One task the unit will have is to ensure projects and policies are culturally respectful with improved outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Up to 29 jobs will be created. Will there be a focus on Aboriginal candidates to improve the culture and policies in the Department of Mines?
