National Close the Gap Day 2022

Today is National Close the Gap Day, which has been held on the third Thursday in March each year for more than a decade.

While the gap remains, and at times feels like it gets bigger rather than shrinking, one thing we do know is -

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and their allies continue to work to keep culture strong and push for community to be able to lead the way.

Today the CLOSE THE GAP CAMPAIGN REPORT 2022: TRANSFORMING POWER – VOICES FOR GENERATIONAL CHANGE was also launched.

It features 9 case studies that show how important a role you can play in community.
